What tax forms will CDC Plus employees receive, and when?
Today’s Coffee Chat will discuss CDC Plus and employee tax forms.
This question came from Carrie, and it was in two parts:
1. Who’s responsible for sending the employees’ W-2s?
2. When should they expect to receive it?
Here are the answers:
Q. Who’s responsible for sending the employees’ W-2s?
A. APD/CDC Plus is the fiscal agent. So they are responsible for sending out W-2s and 1099s if you have independent contractors or vendors on your plan.
Q. When should they expect to receive their tax forms?
A. Scarlett had to email CDC Plus to double-check, but they confirmed they had all been mailed out. (Filming occurred February 2, 2024.) Everyone should be receiving their tax forms within the first week of February. If you don’t receive them, please wait another week or two before you fill out the duplicate replacement form. We couldn’t locate that form on the CDC Plus website, but we’ve emailed CDC Plus, and hopefully, we will have that form available for you soon. We hope no one needs it!
